Upcoming Surgery

During my six week postpartum check up I had a follow up ultrasound to check on the cysts they found when I was pregnant. I met with my doctor yesterday to discuss the results. Not only are the cysts still there but they are continuing to grow. There is one in particular they are concerned about so she wants to go in laproscopically and see what all is going on. This will be an outpatient procedure with just a few days recovery period. She said at minimum she will remove cysts and worst case scenario she will remove the right ovary/tube. She doesn't think the uterus is involved but won't know for sure until she gets in there.

I had blood drawn yesterday to check for tumor marker and it came back normal, praise God. The procedure is not scheduled yet but will hopefully be Friday Nov 5th.

My mom and dad are coming to keep Ensley while EJ takes me to hospital. Please pray for me as we wait for the procedure, results, and for quick recovery.
