"sista"

The three of us went to get a glimpse of our little baby this morning. Much to our excitement we found out we are having a girl! We told Ensley she was having a sister to which she replied,"sista?" We tried to explain by telling her there was a baby girl in Mommy's tummy but she still isn't real sure about the whole thing. We showed her a profile picture from the ultrasound and I pointed out the mouth and nose and told her that was her little baby girl. She hugged and kissed the picture so that is a good start. We are all so excited and can't wait to meet our newest little princess.

"Mommy books...Bible"

This morning while eating breakfast Ensley said "Mommy books...Bible". I asked her if she wanted to read the Bible with Mommy to which she replied "ok". That was music to this Mommy's heart!

God I pray Ensley's desire to read your Word continues. I pray that she will have a hunger and thirst to know You more that can only be quenched by digging into your Word and seeking your voice. Give us wisdom in raising her that she will see You in all the things we do. I pray that her actions even now would be pleasing to You and that she would continue to grow in wisdom and Truth. Amen.
