Ensley had her first trip to Pancake Pantry this morning and loved it...ok she could really care less but she did good. Then we strolled the strip doing a little Christmas shopping. And I got the cutest monogrammed Christmas outfit for Ensley.
After a little lunch break and nap for Ensley we changed clothes (it was 36 degrees this morning and 76 degrees this afternoon) for the rest of the day. As you can see from above picture our view from the balcony is beautiful so I sat out there for a while enjoying God's creation with my sweet baby girl in my arms. Then we went to the outlets to do some more Christmas shopping. (Sidenote: when we changed clothes EJ put on some adidas shorts and then looked at his shirts and said he didn't have a shirt to wear. I asked what was wrong with his purple shirt. To which he replied, it's nike. Apparently the boy can't mix brands. I said your shorts don't even say adidas except on the tag. So he wore the mismatched brands but said if his shorts had the logo he wouldn't have done it. What?!) Anyway...we are almost finished Christmas shopping. And I found some great deals on church dresses for Ensley. I got two dresses at Strasburg (regular $170, I paid $50)...heck yeah! I spent $30 on $80 worth of dresses at Carter's. And I got matching Christmas pajamas for Ensley and my nieces so we can get a picture.
Ensley has been amazing so far. We really thought we wouldn't leave the room much but she is such a sweet baby that she let's us go wherever and she is happy. She did have a little melt down today so I went to take her out of her carrier to find that she had a blowout extravaganza in her pants. It was all over her cute outfit and the spare outfit I had was a warm outfit I put in her bag this morning so we had to buy her an outfit to wear. Then after she was cleaned up she was fine the rest of the day.
Update on the pacifier: she is not dependent on it (yet) and only takes it occasionally so we get to see her pretty face still. So my vote is that the paci is a blessing.

Oh that is really funny about the brands... what? I guess I need to go buy a whole bunch of Lucky and 7 shirts, because my jeans don't match ANY of my shirts.
Seriously, you're buying the girl clothes? You're as bad as me! I can't resist it either.... we'll start the 12 step program together!
I'm glad Ensley is being such a good girl on your vacation. Blow outs are so inconvenient, aren't they? Live and learn. In addition to spare clothes, I usually try to keep a few plastic grocery bags stashed in the diaper bag to contain the messy clothes until we get home.
