Eighteen Months

Ensley had her eighteen month check up yesterday. She is 24 lbs and 31.2 inches. Her height and weight have started to slow down a little but her head circumference was off the charts at 19.7 inches. I guess it is because she has all of that knowledge to hold in there. She scored perfect in all of the developmental categories except problem solving but was in the high normal range. She is learning that the doctor's office isn't always such a terrible place and that she gets stickers and ice cream when we leave. She is such a joy and I have loved every minute of the last eighteen months!

I read a blog post by a lady a few weeks ago. It said something to the effect of the fact that she was in the line at Target, one kid was eating a lollipop off the floor (that someone else had dropped), one kid was "helping" the lady in front of them with her debit card pin on the keypad, and the toddler in the cart had put on the bra that she was purchasing and was wearing it over her jacket. Someone walked up to her and said, "Cherish every moment, they grow so fast." And the mom replied, "I am! I'm cherishing every single moment. Especially this one! :)" I have laughed about that so many times, because as much as I love my children and I LOVE being their mother... I cannot say I have loved every minute of them... there are alot of minutes with them that neither I nor they are at their finest. :) hehehe

I want photos... and I think we will come out and see y'all. Are you around this weekend?
