Kids say...

The past few weeks Ensley has started telling Kala to come. It is the cutest thing! She pats her knees and says in a very stern voice "Ka-Ka come".

Last night I asked Ensley if she was ready for a bath and she gave the enthusiastic full body nod and ran to the bathroom. She then turned to me, patted her knees and said "Mommy come" in her stern voice. After I recovered from laughing I made it clear that we don't talk to Mommy that way. It is ok to talk to Kala like that but not Mommy and Daddy. Then I said "how should you talk to Mommy?" She said "pease". Work in progress.

I am hoping that if she does it to someone else or to me in public that people won't be able understand what she is saying, but if they do oh well...kids say the darnedest thingsu

Too cute! Hannah also calls the dogs by patting her knees. And, even if you get the appropriate ways to talk to mommy in her head now, you might have to re-teach it around 4 years old. :/ lol
