Miss Ensley had her first appointment with the pediatrician today. She passed all the poking and prodding with flying colors. She has grown a half inch and gained 5 ounces since her discharge from the hospital Wednesday. She is one ounce from her birth weight. He said they usually schedule a two week appointment to make sure they are back up to birth weight but it wasn't necessary in our case since she was practically already there. The girl can eat, I tell ya. We go back in 3 weeks. I can't imagine how much she will have grown by then.
I can't believe it has been a week already. Time is going by way too fast! I only have 13 more weeks until I have to leave her to go back to work. I feel so blessed to have that much time with her because I know a lot of working moms don't get even half that. That first day back will be the longest 12 hour shift I have ever worked. One thing is for sure, I won't take one second of the next 13 weeks for granted, and I will cherish every second with her.

You will have to do alot of blogging for me. It's totally KILLING me that I am not there! Seriously, I am counting her among our worst possible things to leave behind! :(
I can't wait to take some fun photos of our girl. We gotta get that on the calendar, the time will fly by.
