We have the best realtor ever!! She has gone above and beyond in this deal. She has been trying to find us a place to rent so we wouldn't have to stay in an extended stay hotel for the next two months.
She apparently had a connection with someone at an apartment complex that is one of the nicest in town. I had called them earlier and they told me they only did 6-12 month leases. I told them our story but it didn't matter. Our realtor called today and said she had a deal set up for us for 3 months in a two bedroom, one and a half bath apartment...and it's cheaper than the studio hotel room...and we are 99% sure they will let our little children come stay with us!!!

All of this is just fantastic. I'm so excited for you. I do love seeing the progress on the house too. BUT, could you PLEASE post a photo of your little pooch, just for those of us who never get to see you?
