When I heard this I thought "How cute!" Then I thought "How true!" God gave His one and only Son so that anyone who believed in Him would have eternal life. He did this for me and anyone who would accept Him, yet He is so often forgotten, not just by the unbelievers of the world but the believers like me who go day to day in our little routine forgetting to rely on Him in all things big or small. And then we wonder why more people aren't coming to know Him.
Father, forgive me for forgetting about the sacrifice You gave and for thinking I can go a day without You. Help me to become less and You to become more in my life.
