We had our first exam today at the doctor. I am 1 cm dilated and 70-80% effaced. The doctor was pleased with our health and progress. We go back next Thursday and are hoping for some more progress. Not long now!

Okay now it should be any day... seriously, I think that's what I was the day that I went in to be induced. :) YAY... either way I should be able to be here when she is born! Yahoo and praise the Lord! :) Love you!
Yay for progress!! :) I know you are so excited. Don't forget to rest up in prep for labor and life with a newborn! ;)
I wish I had some decent advice on your stats, but with Elizabeth I walked around at 3 cm for a week before she was born, and with Hannah I was only 1 cm and 60% for 2 weeks, but then progressed quickly in labor... 7 cm when I walked in to L&D and was 10 cm/ delivering a baby about 45 minutes later. Crazy. I will pray yours isn't quite so dramatic. ;)
