I rode to Fulton this past weekend with my brother-in-law and 2 of their kids (for the funeral...EJ and his sister rode up the day before). The following is a conversation that took place on our trip...I hope it makes you smile because it sure brightens my day when I think about it.
7 year old: "Dad, do you love me more than your butt?"
Dad: (after a chuckle), "Of course, I love you more than my butt. I love you and your mom and your brothers and sister more than anything in the whole world."
7 year old: "Oh."
Dad: "Why my butt?"
7 year old: "I don't know. I just love my skin. I love to rub my soft belly."
I thought this was hilarious but of course couldn't laugh hysterically while the serious conversation was taking place so I thought you might enjoy a chuckle from hearing it.

You just never know what they are going to say... that was funny.
That's really funny. I can only imagine the kind of things Austin will say in a few years. He comes up with some pretty random stuff now, and he is just starting to talk.
